Introducing Dr Kjeld Johansen
Kjeld Johansen, MSc psych., PhD educ., born 1937 in Denmark. Teacher trained, he worked in the Danish school system for nearly 40 years as a classroom teacher, school administrator and educational consultant.
Kjeld has published two books and numerous articles on dyslexia and auditory processing. Co-author to math books for primary schools.
With the composer Bent-Peder Holbech, MA from music publisher ROTNA Kjeld has developed the auditory stimulation programme JIAS, used in at least 18 countries. The programme has now been installed on the Sensograph manufactured by Mediacenter Mjölby, Sweden.
Kjeld is now heading Baltic Dyslexia Research Lab, Bornholm. Denmark (55 deg. N, 15 deg. E).
